LOCAL CARE. AN ONGOING RELATIONSHIP.
Relationship-based concierge primary care for Portola Valley: a physician-led team, blood work at home, and our Palo Alto Center on Middlefield Road.

CARE IN YOUR AREA
Explore the area
Portola Valley members have a physician-led team at PrimaryMD that brings much of the care to them. A mobile phlebotomist draws blood work at home, the seven-night sleep study happens in your own bed, and routine check-ins run by video, phone, or text. Behind all of it is one team, led by your physician, with a care coordinator, a medical assistant, and an exercise physiologist working from one plan. In-person physician visits are at PrimaryMD San Mateo, and the Palo Alto Center in our care network takes care of lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care.
Alpine Road leads out of Portola Valley toward Stanford and downtown Palo Alto, home to our care network's Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road. It stays open until 11 p.m. Monday to Friday and welcomes members from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Physician visits are farther north, up I-280 at PrimaryMD San Mateo (101 South San Mateo Drive, Suite 311); its weekday hours start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. The San Francisco 24/7 Center never closes.
Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

Discuss care in your areaConcierge care improves time and access, and PrimaryMD adds continuity for Portola Valley members: the same four people carry your story from the first records request through every quarterly review, so nothing has to be explained twice. They also take on the coordination with specialists, second opinions, and insurance. The incentives stay clean, since we sell no supplements and do not mark up tests.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS
PrimaryMD brings primary care, prevention, and ongoing follow-through into one physician-led relationship. Your care team gets to know your history, priorities, and daily life, then works with you on a plan that can evolve over time.
Begin with your health history, questions, and goals. Your physician uses that context to guide a meaningful baseline assessment.
Work with a dedicated care team on shared priorities and practical next steps, with support for everyday primary care.
Return to your plan through recurring clinical review. Your team brings new information and changing needs into the conversation.
MEMBERSHIP AT A GLANCE
Membership is not health insurance. Insurance remains important for hospital care, specialists, procedures, medications, and services outside the membership.
