In the Marina District, PrimaryMD membership centers on one physician-led team of four that gets to know your history, your routines, and your work. It begins with records gathered in the first two weeks, a two-hour intake, and a baseline that includes blood work at home, whole-genome sequencing, and a seven-night sleep study, then settles into a quarterly review. Physician visits happen by video or at PrimaryMD San Mateo. For lab work and anything urgent, day or night, our care network includes the San Francisco 24/7 Center on Van Ness Avenue.

Lombard Street, along the south side of the Marina District, carries US-101 to Van Ness Avenue, and our San Francisco 24/7 Center stands at 1005 Van Ness Avenue, open around the clock. US-101 continues down the Peninsula to PrimaryMD San Mateo (101 South San Mateo Drive, Suite 311), where physician visits run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Farther south, the Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

How is PrimaryMD different from other concierge doctors in the Marina?

PrimaryMD gives Marina District members what concierge care is known for, more time and easier access, and then spends that time on judgment. Every finding from your baseline gets a next step, whether that means acting, monitoring, repeating a test, referring you on, or leaving it alone, and your team handles the follow-through. We do not mark up tests or sell supplements, so the plan answers only to your health.

OUR CLINICAL LEADERSHIP

Meet the physicians.

Get to know the physicians helping shape PrimaryMD’s approach to care. Our membership team can explain the care team and availability in your area.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS

A clear beginning. Care that continues.

PrimaryMD brings primary care, prevention, and ongoing follow-through into one physician-led relationship. Your care team gets to know your history, priorities, and daily life, then works with you on a plan that can evolve over time.

  1. Understand your starting point

Begin with your health history, questions, and goals. Your physician uses that context to guide a meaningful baseline assessment.

  2. Build the relationship

Work with a dedicated care team on shared priorities and practical next steps, with support for everyday primary care.

  3. Review and adapt

Return to your plan through recurring clinical review. Your team brings new information and changing needs into the conversation.

MEMBERSHIP AT A GLANCE

One membership.
A continuing relationship.

  • A dedicated physician-led care team
  • Comprehensive intake and an individualized care plan
  • Recurring clinical review and coordinated follow-through

Membership is not health insurance. Insurance remains important for hospital care, specialists, procedures, medications, and services outside the membership.
