A PrimaryMD membership in Pacific Heights gives you a physician-led team of four that knows your history well enough to notice what has changed. Care begins with your records and a two-hour intake, builds a baseline with whole-genome sequencing, an in-home sleep study, and a physiology assessment, and then returns to your priorities every quarter. Your physician is available by video and in person at PrimaryMD San Mateo. Lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care are handled nearby at the San Francisco 24/7 Center on Van Ness Avenue, part of our care network.

The nearest stop is 1005 Van Ness Avenue, where the San Francisco 24/7 Center is open 24/7; head east to Van Ness to reach it. PrimaryMD San Mateo, our Bay Area clinic in Suite 311 at 101 South San Mateo Drive, opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Van Ness Avenue carries US-101 south toward the Peninsula, and Caltrain stops near the clinic. The Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road completes the network with weekday hours until 11 p.m.

Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

How is PrimaryMD different from other concierge doctors in Pacific Heights?

Concierge care improves time and access, and PrimaryMD provides both in Pacific Heights. What we add is ownership of the whole picture: after an urgent visit, a specialist appointment, or a second opinion, the same team gathers the records, explains what changed, and updates your plan, with help on insurance questions along the way. Our advice has one purpose, because we sell no supplements and do not mark up tests.

OUR CLINICAL LEADERSHIP

Meet the physicians.

Get to know the physicians helping shape PrimaryMD’s approach to care. Our membership team can explain the care team and availability in your area.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS

A clear beginning. Care that continues.

PrimaryMD brings primary care, prevention, and ongoing follow-through into one physician-led relationship. Your care team gets to know your history, priorities, and daily life, then works with you on a plan that can evolve over time.

  1. Understand your starting point

Begin with your health history, questions, and goals. Your physician uses that context to guide a meaningful baseline assessment.

  2. Build the relationship

Work with a dedicated care team on shared priorities and practical next steps, with support for everyday primary care.

  3. Review and adapt

Return to your plan through recurring clinical review. Your team brings new information and changing needs into the conversation.

MEMBERSHIP AT A GLANCE

One membership.
A continuing relationship.

  • A dedicated physician-led care team
  • Comprehensive intake and an individualized care plan
  • Recurring clinical review and coordinated follow-through

Membership is not health insurance. Insurance remains important for hospital care, specialists, procedures, medications, and services outside the membership.
