For Nob Hill residents, PrimaryMD provides a dedicated physician-led team of four that follows your health over years, not single appointments. Membership includes a two-hour intake, whole-genome sequencing interpreted for what is actionable, blood work drawn at home or at the office, and a quarterly physician review. In person, your physician sees you at PrimaryMD San Mateo; otherwise, you meet by video. For lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care, members use the San Francisco 24/7 Center on Van Ness Avenue, which is part of our care network and never closes.
The California Street cable car runs west over Nob Hill and ends at Van Ness Avenue; follow Van Ness south to 1005 Van Ness Avenue, home of the San Francisco 24/7 Center, which is open 24/7. Physician visits are at PrimaryMD San Mateo, 101 South San Mateo Drive (Suite 311), with hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays; the clinic is near the San Mateo Caltrain station. When a trip south does not suit your day, a video visit with the same physician does.
Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.
