PrimaryMD membership on Russian Hill gives you a physician-led team of four and a clear picture of your health, built step by step. Your team gathers your history in the first two weeks, meets you for a two-hour intake, and completes a baseline that includes blood work at home or at the office and a seven-night in-home sleep study. After that, a quarterly physician review keeps priorities current. Your physician meets with you at PrimaryMD San Mateo, or by video when that is easier. The San Francisco 24/7 Center, part of our care network, covers lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care.
Van Ness Avenue forms the western edge of Russian Hill, and the same avenue leads to the San Francisco 24/7 Center at 1005 Van Ness Avenue, which is open 24/7. Physician visits are in Suite 311 at PrimaryMD San Mateo, 101 South San Mateo Drive, where Monday to Friday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; to drive there, follow Van Ness Avenue, which carries US-101 south toward the Peninsula. The Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road completes our Bay Area care network.

Is blood work done at home?
Yes. Blood is drawn wherever suits you, at home on Russian Hill or at your office, by a mobile phlebotomist, and your physician reviews the results with you.
