Membership with PrimaryMD in Mission Bay starts with a physician-led team of four that learns your history, your goals, and the rhythm of your work. Over the first six weeks, your team gathers records, meets you for a two-hour intake, and builds a baseline that includes DEXA, VO2 max, resting metabolic rate, and grip strength with a clinical exercise physiologist. Your physician sees you at PrimaryMD San Mateo or by video. Lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care are covered across town by the San Francisco 24/7 Center, part of our care network.

Caltrain is the simple route from here. Trains leave 4th and King, near Mission Bay, and run down the Peninsula to the San Mateo station, close to PrimaryMD San Mateo in Suite 311 at 101 South San Mateo Drive, open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Across town, the San Francisco 24/7 Center at 1005 Van Ness Avenue never closes, and the Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road is up University Avenue from the Palo Alto Caltrain station, on the same line.

Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

How is PrimaryMD different from other concierge doctors in Mission Bay?

Concierge care improves time and access, and PrimaryMD gives Mission Bay members both, then puts that time into steady follow-through. Your team reviews wearable and glucose-monitor data for trends, builds each quarterly physician review around one focus, such as lipids or cardiovascular risk, and handles referrals and second opinions. With no supplements to sell and no markup on tests, what we suggest is shaped by the evidence alone.

OUR CLINICAL LEADERSHIP

Meet the physicians.

Get to know the physicians helping shape PrimaryMD’s approach to care. Our membership team can explain the care team and availability in your area.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS

A clear beginning. Care that continues.

PrimaryMD brings primary care, prevention, and ongoing follow-through into one physician-led relationship. Your care team gets to know your history, priorities, and daily life, then works with you on a plan that can evolve over time.

  1. Understand your starting point

Begin with your health history, questions, and goals. Your physician uses that context to guide a meaningful baseline assessment.

  2. Build the relationship

Work with a dedicated care team on shared priorities and practical next steps, with support for everyday primary care.

  3. Review and adapt

Return to your plan through recurring clinical review. Your team brings new information and changing needs into the conversation.

MEMBERSHIP AT A GLANCE

One membership.
A continuing relationship.

  • A dedicated physician-led care team
  • Comprehensive intake and an individualized care plan
  • Recurring clinical review and coordinated follow-through

Membership is not health insurance. Insurance remains important for hospital care, specialists, procedures, medications, and services outside the membership.
