PrimaryMD members in Noe Valley rely on a physician-led team of four: a lead physician, a care coordinator, a medical assistant, and an exercise physiologist who meets with them monthly. The first weeks are spent learning your story and pulling your records together; then comes a two-hour intake, a baseline with home blood draws and a seven-night sleep study, and a quarterly review. In person, you see your physician at PrimaryMD San Mateo, and video covers the days you stay local. Lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care go to our care network's San Francisco 24/7 Center.
Three locations make up the network around you. PrimaryMD San Mateo, open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each weekday, is at 101 South San Mateo Drive, Suite 311; I-280 runs south to SR-92 and on into San Mateo. The San Francisco 24/7 Center at 1005 Van Ness Avenue is open around the clock for anything that cannot wait, and the Palo Alto Center at 555 Middlefield Road is open seven days a week, until 11 p.m. on weekdays.
Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

Can I be seen after hours near Noe Valley?
Yes. The San Francisco 24/7 Center on Van Ness Avenue never closes, and your PrimaryMD team follows the visit through to your plan.
Do I need to come in for blood work?
No. A mobile phlebotomist draws your blood at home or at the office, and your physician goes over the results with you.
