CARE IN YOUR AREA
Explore the area
Piedmont members of PrimaryMD have a physician-led team of four who hold their full history and keep one plan moving. Care begins with a two-hour intake, whole-genome sequencing, blood panels drawn at home, and a sleep study in your own bed, and it continues with a quarterly review built around one focus. Many check-ins happen by video or text, so the Bay Bridge only enters the picture when it has to. For in-person physician visits you come to PrimaryMD San Mateo, and our care network looks after lab work, urgent needs, and after-hours care.
Piedmont is surrounded by Oakland, and the Bay Bridge (I-80) is the usual way into San Francisco; BART from Rockridge or MacArthur is the other. Once across, head to 1005 Van Ness Avenue for our care network's San Francisco 24/7 Center, which is open around the clock. Our clinic, PrimaryMD San Mateo, is at 101 South San Mateo Drive, down US-101 from the city, and is open weekdays; hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Traditional primary care panels often run into the thousands. Each PrimaryMD care team is capped at 150 members, so your team has time to know you.

Discuss care in your areaConcierge care improves time and access, and PrimaryMD gives Piedmont members both while asking a harder question: what should you actually do about your health this year? Your team answers it with a baseline, a short list of priorities, and follow-through across specialists, records, and insurance. We sell no supplements and we never mark up tests, so the advice stays about your health.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS
PrimaryMD brings primary care, prevention, and ongoing follow-through into one physician-led relationship. Your care team gets to know your history, priorities, and daily life, then works with you on a plan that can evolve over time.
Begin with your health history, questions, and goals. Your physician uses that context to guide a meaningful baseline assessment.
Work with a dedicated care team on shared priorities and practical next steps, with support for everyday primary care.
Return to your plan through recurring clinical review. Your team brings new information and changing needs into the conversation.
MEMBERSHIP AT A GLANCE
Membership is not health insurance. Insurance remains important for hospital care, specialists, procedures, medications, and services outside the membership.
